It is with great pleasure that we have a chance to announce that BRIGHT SPECIAL LIGHTING SA collaborated with the Department of Mechanical & Electronic Engineering of the University of West Attica, with the School of Engineering. This fruitful collaboration led to the completion of the thesis of a student on the subject of "ARTIFICIAL LIGHTING FOR PLANT LIFE DEVELOPMENT".
This thesis is a study with special requirements and specific technological specifications. After investigation, all the technological specifications required were adapted to the NOTUS 1 linear luminaire which was delivered to the student for his research. BRIGHT's laboratory engineers provided all the necessary information in researching the appropriate technologies such as: light intensity, use of appropriate lamp, Lumen, Lux, etc., which were integral for the completion of specific experiments of the thesis. The desired results in this endeavor were reached thanks to the excellent cooperation between BRIGHT's engineers, the student and the University professor. With the completion of the experiments on technical photosynthesis lighting for plant life growth, useful conclusions were extracted that can be of great use to the lighting industry.
